Welcome to LibertyHomeSchool.org. The purpose of this website is to connect homeschool families in the Magic Valley with other homeschool families.

Everything on the calendar is a public activity open to all homeschool families regardless of their race, religion or children’s ages. We connect as families who have chosen a unique way of educating our children.

Who are we? In 2005 a group of families, spread through word of mouth, met at Candy Cane Park and decided to form a group that would hold weekly activities. We wanted to meet on a regular basis. We chose Liberty Homeschool as a name hoping we would continue to meet as a group. The name sounds like we function as a "school" but it is really just the name of our activity group. That first year we had a weekly playgroup/game activity, put together a Christmas choir that sang at several Senior Centers, swam at the city pool, hosted a science symposium and had an opening family picnic. Currently we meet at parks for sports and participate in various activities hosted by moms who are Modern Woodmen Service Club leaders. We don't have members, anyone who currently teaches their children at home or is considering homeschool as an option may participate.

There are groups that meet with the common bond of faith -- as well as home education. If you are looking specifically (ie: a Christian or LDS group) please click here to see our group information or list your group.
